Toughest Schedules
Based on home games as well as who the teams play. when. From toughest to easiest ...
1. LSU
2. Alabama
3. Texas A&M
4. Auburn
5. Mississippi State
6. Ole Miss

LSU
Non-Conference Games: North Texas, Washington, Idaho, Towson
Games Against The East: at Florida, South Carolina
Realistic Best Case Record: 12-0
Worst Case Record: 8-4
Likely Finish: 10-2
Pre-Spring Projected Wins: North Texas, Washington, Idaho, Towson, at Florida, South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi State, Ole Miss
Pre-Spring Projected Losses: at Texas A&M, at Arkansas
Summary: Overall, the SEC schedule is one of the toughest of any team in the league, but there are enough breaks to rest up and get ready for the showdowns. The world will want to focus on November 3rd game against Alabama – made even bigger with a week off before it to build up the hype – but the Tigers have a lot of work to do before the national title rematch.
Washington is solid, but 3-0 should be a near-lock before opening up the SEC slate at Auburn. Towson will be a chance to empty the bench, but that comes before a three-game run of at Florida, South Carolina, and at Texas A&M before the two week rest to get ready for the Tide. It’ll be tempting to take home games against Mississippi State and Ole Miss lightly after dealing with Bama, but the Tigers have to keep their focus during the finishing kick to be ready for the regular season finale at Arkansas.

I would have to examine A&M's schedule and compare. It's the third significant game in a row for LSU, comes late in the season when injuries and fatigue begin to take a toll. I can see the potential for a road loss there, but it would be an upset. However, if LSU gets on a roll similar to last year, it could be a blowout for the Tigers as well.

I don't give a frick if it was the 6th significant game in a row......LSU losing to a qb less A&M squad run by a coach that has yet to prove he knows how to coach without a qb not named Keenum........Were can I bet that game right now?

As an Aggie, I think that's a reach, but I will say this....
I've seen some shitty to mediocre Aggie teams run roughshod over some elite teams at Kyle Field.
This Aggie team won't be shitty, but they won't be great either. There is a ton of offensive talent, and we can run the ball (there might be something to this thinking).
Our defense is serviceable up front, but its not going to be an immovable force in the SEC for sure.
LSU should win this game, but I've seen stranger things over the years, where we've shocked some #1s, and absolutely destroyed some top 10 teams in some of our "down" years.

Who replaces Tanneyhill? Will their pass D be any better than the shite show they had last year? I don't buy it. At least CFN could have tabbed Bama at home as a loss. I could see that happening more than A&M.

I guess they are forgetting that A&M isn't any good. And that they have to prepare for 8 new opponents rather than the one that the rest of the SEC west has to. And that tackle box they call a stadium won't make a damn bit of difference.

We're going undefeated this year. No question about it. It's just a matter of who do we play in the national championship.
I'm convinced this team will be so pissed from the ending of last year they just won't allow a loss. Add that to the immense amount of talent and depth, and there's just no one who will beat us.

I have had a feeling since the BCS title game that as the season gets closer, our preseason rankings will drop. This won't be the last one.
Now,I think we're going to prove everyone wrong, but I'm not going to be surprised when the magazines come out in late May if we don't get pushed further down in the 6 to 10 group.

I'm willing to bet you right now A&M won't avg 150 yards rushing a game in the SEC this year.

There are 4 QBs that could replace Tannehill.
4* Showers (RS Soph)
4* Joeckel (RS Soph)
4* Manziel (RS Freshman)
4* Davis (True Freshman)
Showers, Manziel and Davis are all dual threat, fast QBs who set some nice records in the TX HS recordbooks.
Joeckel is a pocket passer, and large.

We have the best dual threat QB to come out that state since VY at WR..............good luck with that.

That's pretty bold... but I will leave you with this. We had a shittier Oline in this game too.
Cotton Bowl 2011
We had 155 rushing yards on 27 carries. That's a 5.74 yards per rush.

You got 50 yards rushing in GARBAGE TIME.

I'll take that stat line again!

What a joke. Bama at home will be tougher than A&M on the road.

We abandoned the run in the 2nd half to play catch up. We also rushed for 380 yards against Arky last year.
Look I don't think we beat you guys but TAMU won't be a push over

Ok...........I bookmarked this for midseason.........
A&M will progressively get to SEC status, but 2012 will be the biggest REALITY CHECK they've had in their storied history.

P.S you couldn't pass the ball........you had a 13 play drive in the 4th quarter primarily on running the football buddy.
