If Kelly decides to keep him, I’ll trust his judgement. He knows a hell of a lot more than any of us.

On the other side, I can’t think of a quicker way to lose the fanbase than House shitting the bed again next year.

I read posts like this and I think it has to be a boomer drinking his morning coffee whilst typing on his 20 year old DELL on a dim lit room while his nagging wife is getting ready for her shift at the local Walmart.

If he is retained with the team returning as much experience as they are next season defensively, there better be a significant difference of defensive play. If not a lot of questions will have to be answered and he better not be employed come conference play.

“If we keep House and it works out, that’s good. If it doesn’t, that’s bad.”

Kelly really does not care about the fanbase's opinion. What the fanbase really comes down to is winning. So if he keeps House and then hes able to win then he will have the approval of the fanbase. So he is not going to make any decisions based on the fanbase. Hes going to make the decision that gives him and his staff the best opportunity to win.

With that being said, I do think he is working on getting House another job offer so as to not fire House but also not having him be the DC next season.

BK went without a d-line coach since June. No excuse.

He hired a new D line coach last second mid summer after everyone else worth a frick had already been hired. He didn't choose to have his dline poached by the NFL after spring practice. He also didn't choose to have his new middle age D line coach almost die at the beginning of fall camp. He was thrust into a shite position.

There is no situation except the one in your head. If you really represent the "fanbase" here's the door

I read posts like this and think it has to be a neckbearded beanie wearing soyboy that’s sitting at its local starbucks safe space clutching his cup of soy latte while wearing his onesie and typing on his google phone while holding his boyfriends head in his lap all the while bitching that the men’s restroom is out of tampons.

I wonder if Denbrock's new agreement was under the premise that House and/or Def Staff would be turned over.

Remember when even punk kids respected their elders? The social media generation respects nothing and nobody. It's all about their feels.

I won't.

House's defense was ok, but FAR from great last season. Particularly towards the end of the season. This year it cost LSU a chance at a championship. The defense didn't even have to be good. It just had to be average and LSU is likely getting ready for the playoffs now. House couldn't even come close to hitting that incredibly low bar. When that happens you lose all benefit of the doubt on that issue.

Ultimately, I don't think Kelly retains House (just like he didn't retain Polian after last season's special teams disaster). But on the off chance he does, he's setting up a Lou Tepper situation. Destroying all hopes for a possible championship caliber team (LSU was ranked 8th to start the 1998 season), only to be brought back the next season and help deliver even worse results. Unfortunately, LSU wouldn't be able to jettison Kelly for his stubbornness like they could with Dinardo in 1999

Being ranked in the 100's is not "ok".

60th is ok. 40th is ok.

Call a spade a spade - it was straight garbage.

What makes you think any of what you posted here is entertaining, funny, or even reasonably clever. It’s really saddening to realize that people actually think this way.

If this was meant for me I do think all this fire House rant is funny but also sad. Do you think the fire House crowd knows what they are talking about? You think they are clever? You think they know football? You think these same people who wanted Ensminger fired in 2018 were clever or knew anything about offensive football?. Yes I do find them funny and yes I do try to use "clever" post to expose them. What saddens me is that these people think THEY are helping us get to a Natty when the reality is they do nothing positive for the team.

If I was not your target than I humble apologize. If it was meant for me then yo mamma.
