Waaaaay too much subjectivity leading to human bias

So, the committee effectively focused on FSU’s performance last night and Alabama’s performance yesterday ignoring the rest of the regular season.
By selecting Alabama over FSU, the committee is also ignoring:
1. Fact that FSU QB last night unlikely to play in CFP given Rodemaker will be back making QB performance against Louisville meaningless;
2. Fact that Rodemaker performed well in rivalry game against UF until being knocked out of game;
3. Fact that FSU’s body of work over the course of an entire season resulting in a #3 SOR.
So, they are saying f all that…we know best…Alabama is better.
Which, also ignores:
1. Fact that Alabama needed 2 miracles to beat a bad Auburn team just one week ago;
2. Fact that Alabama beat a Georgia team with very few/zero quality wins.
That’s some bs…and highly detrimental to the sport.
Are we supposed to believe that the committee knows enough about how Rodemaker would have performed to justify ignoring the rest of the body of work…for both teams?
Once again…bullshite.

Don’t forget that they need FSU’s qb to have a broken leg. That is there reasoning for no FSU.

And we even get Rece Davis and Greg McElroy to sit up there and tell us why it’s logical. The whole system is absurdly laughable

The committee just wanted Alabama in the game.

They just set an absolutely terrible precedent by explicitly saying “our job is to pick what we think will be the best matchup. Not that the season results matter.”
If that is the case, then why is Georgia not in? I think they are better than both Michigan and Washington.

Alabama is the best team in the playoff this year. The Alabama team that lost to Texas no longer exists. They are MUCH better. Don't take any Alabama vs Auburn game into consideration. Those games play out like our LSU vs Arkansas games, shite doesn't make sense for 4 quarters.
FSU would be a 21-28 point dog to Bama and Michigan, and a 14 pt dog washington. Let's not act like by their own ranking standards that being the best team was more important than their record. The 6 best teams were Michigan, Ohio St, Georgia, Bama, Washington, Texas. All 4 of them teams are fairly evenly matched, but 2 of them didn't win their conference. So they got left out. Florida St without Travis is not a good team.

So playoff should be...
Michigan
Washington
FSU
Liberty
Right?
Michigan
Washington
FSU
Liberty
Right?

I was always a fan of using the phase 2 BCS formula with 50/50 computers and human polls, but instead of just using it for 1v2, it would be the basis for a 6 team playoff with 1 and 2 getting a bye.

Dumb argument…Sankey shill with the P5 vs G5 stupidity.
By re-ranking each week, the committee is definitionally ignoring the rest of the regular season.
As someone else said…they seem to be making this up as they go.

But records matter right?
Or do you think Liberty is not as good as those other teams?
Or do they not play the same level of competition?
What is FSU's SOS compared to the others?

Okay got it. Just remove sample that doesn’t support argument.

The decision for Texas & Bama was made before FSU even played. Win or lose FSU was already booted from top 4.
FL senators need to log an investigation & file a court injunction before the ink even drys

We have yet to have an underdog win the title game in the playoff era.
