Yeah, me neither. 2 catches for 19 yds this season. I hope LSU will always be blessed with Nabors and Thomas's who want to play here and work hard to set records and make us feel proud to be fans.

As was Jack Bech

I don't remember who said it, but it was posted that Jack Bech would be an all pro NFL Tight End, possibly hall of famer.

The guy ripped his Achilles in half and was never the same player. Pretending he wasn’t good prior to that is dumb. He had a huge ego though and that never went away even after the injury.

Not sure what youre trying to do here. Because his rookie season in the NFL wasnt great on a horrinle offensive team you want to say he sucked at LSU? May want to educate yourself a bit, baw

"While at LSU in 2020 he earned Freshman All-American and SEC All-Freshman Team honors by leading the Tigers with 735 receiving yards (45 receptions, 16.3 per, five TDs in 10 games, five starts). He set an SEC-record with 308 receiving yards against Ole Miss that season.

Boutte started the first six games of the 2021 season (38-509-13.4, nine TDs) but missed the rest of the year with a right ankle injury"
NFL dot com draft profile

Pre injury he was one of the best WR in the country and seemingly on track to be first rounder. And yes things fell apart at LSU in a bad way for him.

Yes people on here were fans and proud.

Boutte was one of the few bright spots on the team in 2020, when everyone else was opting out. I will always root for him and hope he busts out next year

You can read anything on the "Rant".

One minute they are cheering a player, then he is a yellow dog.
Boutte, Bech and Johnson were heroes, when the team was down, and we were desperate for victories.
As seen above, few players have gotten more praise, then scorn, than John Emery. Now, after an injury, he is getting praise again.
IMO, Boutte, Bech, and Johnson all contributed more to the team wins, with much less hype.

No receiver on the patriots has a chance to be good. Boutte might have a good career

He actually showed promise his freshman year. He had close to 500 yards and a few touchdowns.

For a year and a half, he was one of the best looking young receivers we’ve ever had…then he got injured playing for our Tigers and never got that burst back.

We should be thanking him for putting it all on the line for our team, but some fans enjoy running the guy down for some reason.

If Boutte makes it the full season in New England then hopefully he can continue his NFL career. I wish him all the best.
