Why not fire Matt House now?

It’s pretty obvious he’s not coming back next year. What benefit is there to keeping him anymore? The whole stadium is chanting to fire him. Jancek and Diaco have called defenses before. Get one of them to do it for the last game. Maybe they can come up with a creative game plan for A&M. The dunce sitting in the box literally calls the same read and react bs the whole game no matter the opponent.

Is someone on the staff a candidate to replace him? If not, why not at least let him finish the regular season. He will still get paid and the defense isn’t going to magically improve in one week, so what’s the point?

Bro. He can’t be brought back. We just wasted one of the best offenses in program history bc we couldn’t give up less than 35 a game when it mattered.

He wasted? Between strokes, brain tumors, and injuries, I think he was assisted. The transfer busts were a gamble anyway. In the end we are playing true freshman in different possible than they were recruited for to have enough bodies.

Kelly is about to go to every major DC and tell them that coaching for LSU is the best move for their careers, and you don’t think those guys would notice if Kelly had a habit of firing DCs mid year?

I don’t understand why we are still acting like we are playing defense. We should be blitzing and jumping routes every play.

Just as having bad taste is better than having NO taste (because at least it's taste) - having a bad DC is better than having no DC.
Better to have a unit marching the wrong direction than running helter-skelter all over the place with no rhyme or reason.
