When a long time CB coveted recruit bails after watching our play this year, it brings to the forefront that the top HS cb's want to be developed and not be put in positions to look bad. Unfortunately, that is what is going on at LSU.
At the end of the season and not a day past it, LSU has to let the coaches go find employment elsewhere.
Jackson hire would be a great thing on several fronts.

He bailed because UGA had a bigger bag.

Last year they struck gold, this year they whiffed. I’ve seen enough, clean house. I hope you are not in charge of employment in your day to day

Or he just didn’t have a committable offer from UGA until now or he would’ve committed to them this summer

kids only care about money plain and simple, if that was the case about being developed you think kids would be lining up and committing to Texas A&M?

Have a feeling UGA only offered him to stall our momentum. They already have 5 star corner commits

Disagree. Can't always blame everything on "a bigger bag" unless we're talking 8&4.

Kirby has showed to be the best at developing defensive talent as of late. Makes sense why a kid would want to learn under that staff.

I mean, it doesn't help that we have complete morons at those coaching positions but I feel like it's more about getting to learn under the best there is right now.

Or he looked at the success of UGA DB’s and compared it to the success of LSU DB’s and saw a slight difference?

Uga is closer to where he lives, a program that’s been completely on top for a few years… it happens, we didn’t lose him to Vandy

I know our CB/safety play has been dismal all season. I know that we just lost a coveted CB recruit...presumably because he didn't think LSU could develop him...presumably after watching our dismal coaching. What more do I need to know?

As stated, they have 1 good season and 1 bad season (7 games actually) with OBVIOUS talent issues

BK ain't firing nobody at this point. You start firing coaches after 7 bad games it will get tough pulling in top coaching talent

Aren't these the same coaches that had all of the portal players last year? Were they good coaches last year?

This is ridiculous. I sincerely hope that you don't have any children.

A Georgia kid committing to Georgia is not at all. Surprise. Georgia has far more resources… Athens much closer to home. Athens is a better place for, college kids. Plus two championships in a row.

Let’s quit using that excuse when talking about Georgia, it’s embarrassing
