He obviously doesn't suck, but he leaves a lot to be desired at times.
I love that he's airing it out more, but I'd love it more if he would lead his receivers (just like he did for Nabers in the corner of the endzone) so they can catch it in stride instead of slowing down and allowing the DB to make a play.
I love when he runs, but I wish he'd slide or go out of bounds instead of whatever this jump shite he's started doing.
We can appreciate the player and want more at the same time. Nothing more infuriating than knowing what he's capable of, and not seeing it play-in and play-out.

Not just the rant. Several of the fools sitting in my section were screaming to bench him all game.

This board makes this sound so easy. Anyone watching football (and paying attention) on Sunday would see many times even NFL QBs still underthrow WRs on the run. For some reason, this board holds JD to Brady/Manning standards.

I think it's more infuriating that he is on pace to have one of the best QB seasons we've ever seen at LSU yet every thread has posts either shitting on him or backhanded compliments like your post.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK!

That's 2 weeks in a row isn't it?
Posted on 9/25/23 at 11:27 am to tigerfan84
But but the backup QB wouldn't have had to "share" with anyone...

Ah, so nothing short of perfection will do.

He did not do that a single time this last game.

Remember when Burrow threw that interception against Auburn or the two interceptions he threw against Ole Miss? Man, I wish Burrow was better. He let me down.

There were a few dumbasses behind me at the game yelling for Nuss and yelling to fire Brian Kelly. fricking tards, man. They talked the entire game like they knew the game of football but couldn’t even recognize the second best quarterback in LSU history was on the field.
People are dumb.

It comes down to pure ignorance. If Nuss and even Howard was still here it will be 20x worse. If a cultural favorite is present, then he's never good enough. As a man of color this has been my journey too many times. I know his parents prepared him for this. "We always have to be 10x better to just get an opportunity" JD5 just play your Game! Haters will always Hate. Keep feeding the Hate

Because I’m deep balls it is what you are taught to do. Put as much air on the ball as possible and let your WR adjust to make the play.
The WR has zero chance to adjust to an overthrown ball.

Just watched the NFL yesterday and Qbs missing long throws all day. They are hard for a reason. You guys think JD should hit every single 50 yard throw in stride.
