What was the best era of LSU tailgating in your opinion?

Feel free to rank or qualify in any way.
Even though I was there in the 90s, I have to say the mid 00s.
Winning tradition was strong (with usual ups and downs).
Rules/regs weren’t as strict.
Technology far enough along to give benefits of call phones, and lighter/thinner TVs for tailgating, Without having people with smartphones in their faces all day.
Just seemed easier but still awesome.

Right before they charged to park or get into campus.

before TAF got involved with RV parking extortion

2003 was the crescendo, after that season they started to restrict areas and parking

Some may agree or disagree but the 2003 Georgia game is the single best gameday experience ever.

Went to 03 UGA and 07 Florida and the Florida game wins fairly easily

03 UGA it was different, I’ve said it once I will say it again. In the moment UGA went 90 plus and the crowd broke out with the LSU chants everyone in that stadium was bought in.
07 Florida is a close second
Honorable mention auburn 2001 . That was special
Geaux tigers

Right before they started charging $40 to park (or drive) on campus.

As others have said, it feels like 2003-2012 was really the peak. The program was on the rise. CFB was growing nationally. Phones made everything accessible, but hadn't quite taken over.
The gameday atmosphere for UF 2007 is 2nd to none. That was an all time day on campus with an all time atmosphere on the inside of the stadium. Even last year's Bama game, as great as it was, felt like a church outside campus before kickoff compared to 2007 UF.
