I paid $250 per ticket for North Endzone, did I overpay?

Upvote for yes, downvote for no.
I’ll be at the A&M game on Nov 25, my first game in Tiger Stadium since 2014 (Bama), and only my second game since 2016 (at A&M 2016, at UCLA 2021).
Do you believe I overpaid for these seats? If so, I’m good with it.
From 1995-2002 when I was in my teens and early 20s, my Dad had season tickets in the North Endzone, but back then the Sections were listed differently.
I remember sitting in Section 15, Row L, seats 9-10 (Going in Gate 8 or 9, I believe the gates are still listed the same). I got tickets in Section 216, Row 25, which matched best to what my old tickets used to be.
I’m taking my son to the game. Should be awesome.

You overpaid. But guess what:
This makes it fine. It’ll be a sunk cost by the time the game is played. Enjoy your time, and not having to stress over tickets the week of if both teams are highly regarded/ranked.

I wouldn’t pay $250 for any seat in the stadium that isn’t a suite.

will you be mad if you underpaid?

Saturday's game is at Alex Box so I'd say those are terrible seats.

the face value for A&M ticket will likely be around $100-$120 depending on how LSU prices their tickets for the north end zone
you could have waited and got those tickets far cheaper
the A&M game at that time is not high demand because of the thanksgiving holiday and students are out
Now if LSU has a really good year, that game could definitely be in demand, also depending on how good the aggies are
You may have got a steal, only time will tell

My sideline seats cost me roughly $175 a game per seat. I would say they got you a little bit. But, like you said it’s all about what the ticket is worth to you. Enjoy the game, don’t look back.

Can't put a price on that my friend.

Considering we'll be undefeated, I'd say it's a good investment

I usually pay under $100 in North End zone.

You paid a little extra, but you don't have to worry about finding a ticket and you know you and your son are going so who cares.
Sounds like you don't get to attend games much, so who cares if you paid to much. Have fun and enjoy the game.

Why do you care what we think? Seriously??

Why are you even in this thread then? Seriously??

Not asking what we think. He's asking factually if he overpaid.

You likely could have gotten them cheaper (probably much cheaper given face value will likely only be around $100 or so). That said, whether you "overpaid" is relative given you otherwise didn't have tickets to the game. If sitting in the stadium with your son to watch that particular game is worth $500 to YOU, then you didn't "overpay".
Maybe (Hopefully) LSU is 11-0 at that time and A&M will be the last hurdle to an undefeated season. I know I probably would have paid a little over face value to be in the stadium in the games vs. A&M (2019), Arkansas (2011), and even Auburn (2001), so $250 per on the secondary market could be a fair price by that time. Also, it could be a great life memory for you that will be worth well more than $500.
Point being, while I wouldn't have paid $500 for 2 tickets, I can't tell you that you are wrong for doing so.

Do not listen to those who say you paid too much on here, go enjoy the day with your son.
The day and game with him is price less
