I tend to agree. They have a lot of contact hitters who extends ABs. They are a team that do have the potential to get his pitch count up and make our defense have to field their positions. This could be a game where he is at 100 pitches in six innings if he is just a little off. He didn't mean that in an offensive manner at all. IU would clearly have been easier.
ETA: goodness, before some of y'all down vote without reading, no one is saying he is going to lose the start, just that UK is tougher and peskier than IU. Stop being so sensitive!

Skenes is a pitcher not a team on planet earth wants to see. They got run ruled last time they faced him. Hopefully they’re dumb enough to pitch us backwards again

It was also 6-0 after 1 and 14-1 after 3 so Skenes didn’t exactly need to put in max effort against Kentucky.
