Going to buy tickets for the home LSU/KY baseball game. Is the $5 LSU parking ticket recommended? TIA.

It’s a “parking pass”. A parking ticket is what you get if you park in the lot without buying it.

Thx for the clarification. Is the parking pass required?

Required or recommended? Big difference… Make up your mind.

Why not park across Nicholson on the Old Front Nine for free? Walk over to Walk Ons before the game to eat and then walk to Alex Box.

Just park far enough away so foul balls don’t shatter your window. Damn near every foul ball has done that at home this year.

Odd advice since I already said we're planning on going to the game.

Semantics are important tonight apparently so I'll explain further. I'll have 5-6 people. I'm driving in from 5 hours away and would like to have a good experience. I'd like to park in reasonable walking distance from the ball park. Will I be "required" to have a "parking pass" to do this? What does the board recommend? The last game I saw at LSU was '11 so I don't have any idea how the parking works.

There are tons of places to park and you only have to walk 100 yards from all of the places available. You can pay to park across from the stadium or you can usually park at the tennis courts for free which is also across the street if tennis isnt going on. Paying to park is really stupid unless youre just a lazy frick.

That depends on where you park. The Hayfield lot is free, but you have to walk a little bit

Ignore the dickheads around here. There are plenty of places to park for free within easy walking distance.

Hayfield lots, tennis courts, across Nicholson etc

If LSU PD gives you a parking ticket I wouldn't pay it unless for some reason you might need your transcript one day

Agree with the gravel lot in the pic. I park there pretty much every single baseball game I go to. Never had any issues and its a very short walk to the stadium.

They offer shuttle service if you don’t care to walk. It’s free and reliable.

I always park on Skip Bertman Dr across from the old box. It's about a 5-10 minute walk
