Can’t watch tonight. Is the Texas pitcher a future big dealer who is dealing?

Just want to know when I should start worrying about all the goose eggs in the box score.

He’s got good stuff, and Woody Williams is a good pitching coach. I would imagine he’s going to end up the season with a lot more draft consideration than he started the year with.

ETA: he was up to 97 a bunch, his splitter has been really good.

He’s been pretty good. Our bats haven’t been…… yet.

I love how our fans expect us to score 5 runs per inning.

They are starting to take on the splitter some and his pitch count is up there. He’s not a rag arm for sure

Pretty much unhittable splitter.

Threw Neal 3 in a row. Neal showed great patience to watch first 2. Then he threw another with 3-2 count.

This guy’s splitter is similar to Brecht’s slider.

Don’t think anyone expects 5 runs an inning. We do expect to at least put the ball in play and move the runner over after a lead off double though

That drop isn't something to dismiss. It's wicked. Huge drop.

He’s upper 90s with a pretty tough splitter and slider off of it. He’s got it going good right now

It’s hard to make Tre Morgan look silly in the box but that strike 3 is going to be on everybody’s Twitter feed.

Too bad he didn’t pitch in globe life. We could pull numbers from Baseball Savant on him.

Agreed. Especially with a consistent 94-97 mph fastball. The splitter is starting in the zone then dies. Maybe it’s just his night but it’s working

Stuff is nasty. And yes we are cold but can we give consideration to the fact that we are really good at running up pitch counts? That counts for a lot in the grand scheme.

Cool. So this means you are extremely satisfied with LSU so far this season right?

Sorry, but no team is going to turn a lead off double into a run with a 100% success rate. LSU is no different.

You’re a sensitive little guy arent ya? It’s OK to be frustrated with 3 straight terrible ABs after a lead off double

Lmao you’re on here over exaggerating acting like everyone expects to score 20 runs a game when all we wanna see are good ABs. You’re making yourself look like an idiot. You don’t know dick about baseball if you aren’t at least somewhat frustrated with not even putting the ball in play after a lead off double. I can guarantee Jay was mad about it
