Of course I'm kidding, but I don't think things could get much worse.

MM will get about 10 games into the 2023/2024 season. If the team doesn't show vast improvement, Scott Woodward will have no choice but to cut his losses lest the LSU fan base revolt.

There is going to be no one in the pmac by mid year next year.

Honestly I’d take Jones over MM

Jones’ cheating was as egregious as WW’s

How will we know if we play a soft schedule like this year's schedule? Maybe 10 games into the SEC schedule.

Vast may be overblowing it. The word I use is marked, in other words, significant enough to be noteworthy.

The LSU basketball fanbase?

Not enough diehard basketball first fans to even make a blip on Scott's radar. If football and baseball continue to perform, there will be no revolt that will move Scott Woodward, the athletic department, or the BOS. Woodward hires have the possibility to bring home two national championships this year (2022-2023 athletic seasons) in baseball and women's basketball. Scott is not worried nor should he be.

But Jones didn't get caught when he was Head Coach like Wade did. Which would imply that Jones is smarter than Wade.

THIS - and as an avid LSU hoops fan this is very discouraging.

The amount of baseball season ticket holders and basketball season ticket holders isn’t much different.

or jones didn’t have the fbi listening to his calls and then make them public.

This is why Wade was so stupid. Every head coach cheats, but most are smart enough to put several degrees of separation between the cheating and themselves and have one or more middlemen.

Huge difference. Wade was a head coach. Jones was an assistant. It blows my mind that people on here can’t understand how stupid it was for a head coach to be the one doing the stuff Wade was doing.

Basketball is the 2nd biggest revenue generating sport. It’s so dumb for people to think baseball matters and deserves more support. Aside for a handful of schools most baseball lose money.
If they would pour money and resources into basketball it could be like Florida of the early 2000

Said no one ever. I'm sure once MM goes the same won't be said.

Jones made it to the NIT and the NCAA tournament one time each and was able to get the #1 recruit to campus (even though it didn't end well).

He was a bad coach, but I don't know if MM will be able to achieve any of that.
