Did they ever start selling booze at the SEC CG outside of club level seats? I know they still weren't in 19 which was dumb

No they didn’t. They didn’t sell at the hoops tournament in 2019 either

What? Why would that be an SEC rule?

They definitely served alcohol at the playoff game in 2019 which is in the same stadium.

I physically bought & consumed alcohol in that stadium on 12/28/19. Would you like me to provide proof?

Because the league is run by Alabama Baptists. But it is the rule. I attended both games in the Benz in 2019 and could only buy beer at the Peach Bowl. You couldn’t by alcohol in the common folk areas for the SECCG.

Club seats only have access to the alcohol

Hence the ops caveat of "Outside of club Levels" I suspect.

No shite… read the entire thread.

I posted that I bought alcohol in the stadium for the playoff game. Another poster said “no I didn’t”. I was responding to that.

Are concessions priced the same as Falcons games?
I believe that stadium has a really good pricing structure for concessions

Don’t understand why they wouldn’t, they sold alcohol at the playoff game there in 2019.

It is an SEC event so the SEC makes the rules

Correct, it's an SEC thing. Same thing happened to me in 2001. Because they sold beer in the Peach Bowl 2000 I assumed they would in the SECCG 2001. they did not.

Most SEC schools sold alcohol at their stadiums, why would they not allow it at another SEC sanctioned event?
