Spanish LSU announcers?

I think I read LSU decided they didn't have room in the press box for the Spanish broadcast anymore :(.

The spanish broadcast stopped initially due to covid
When he reached out to LSU to start it back again this season he was told no for whatever reason
He did a Nicholls St game earlier this year

It was indeed Mario. His excitement and enthusiasm make for a great broadcast. His being an alum brings a great passion to his calls. The end of this game would have made his call a classic!
I hope at some point the LSU administration realizes how popular his broadcasts are and welcome him back in.

All kidding aside that was pretty awesome hearing the highlights. Sad for whatever reason it was stopped because they're a lot of Spanish people here.

On top of that: they made the public announcement to NOT resume the Spanish broadcast on the 1st day of Hispanic Heritage Month.

LSU decided to not have the Spanish Broadcast anymore, period. It was not because there "wasn't room".
I'm a friend of Mario's and from his telling of what went down, it wasn't due to "lack of room" in the press box.
I can't imagine how EPIC the OT TD & 2-pt conversion would've been had Mario been able to broadcast the game.
