I was wrong! I gave up on Jayden Daniel's after the Tennessee game. Then he humbled me!

He has earned his respect as LSU's starting QB. He will continue to improve and skies to limit for our Tigers!

It's ok to be wrong. The light bulb came on for him and he's made the improvements we all wanted to see.
Just be glad that BK saw it differently!

You could see the progress during Tennessee game. BK even mentioned it. A lot of the times the invisible climb is a real thing

I was wrong, too. But being wrong is my specialty. Tigers need to really worry when I start gulping the koolade. Just saying.

I was just going through some old threads about the QB position. Glad we re able to look back on those and laugh since Daniels has improved almost every week.

People shouldn't have been up in arms regarding Daniels after Tennessee anyway. Kelly said as much. The Tennessee game was the start of what we're seeing now.

You gave up after Tennessee?
That was probably his 3rd or 4th best game. He actually hit tight window throws for the first time in that game. I thought he took a step in the Tennessee game

I’m 100 percent in the same boat. I’m very glad I was wrong. Aside from Burrow, Jayden’s play the last 2 weeks is the best LSU qb play since mettenberger 2013. Then you have to go back to Flynn and Russell to find such competent qb play.

And if you go back and watch Flynn again you will say , damn, this really doesn’t look that good lol
But it was a different time

Give it three weeks and you will start a thread how you made a mistake.

I’ve started to use Peoples opinions of Jayden in the Tennessee game as a measuring stick on whether or not they know football . Lol
Dude had 38 completions with dbs draped on receivers. They were just short passes

Daniels wasn’t even close to the problem in the Tennessee game.

Players improve. They do things different.
If you say a player is not playing well, and then he later plays well - you weren’t wrong or a hater, etc.

I too saw the improvement in the TN game. Kept preaching patience and it has finally paid off . I have no problem with those who criticized but the one's calling for him to be benched and claiming Kelly sucked are the one's who need to atone for their sins.

Most fans just look at the points on the score board at the end of the game and use that as the measuring stick for everything. I'm not saying he was excellent in that game, but there were other reasons they only put 13 points on the board.
Hell, Kelly just alluded to him leaving points on the field for that game.

I took a little flack for saying that this kid has been the real deal since he stepped on the field and tore it up as a true freshman at ASU.
Our coaches saved him from what a situation similar to what Jarret Lee went through. Daniels was blessed to come here and have his coaches believe in him enough to bring him back from brink, something that Ole General Lee wasn't fortunate enough to have.

It always amazes me how some of you don't understand competition. Om is garbage on D and Florida has probably already quit. This fambase is so knee jerk...bad game he sucks, good game Heisman. I'd temper expectations. He still has all the bad stuff, it just isn't exposed against a d like OM. Let's talk in two weeks.

He's never been the problem

The most powerful words ever said by Brian Kelly: “We don’t see it that way.”
Since then, playing lights out, the whole damn team!
