ESPN once again trying to drive the boat & protect their LHN investment. UM board meets tomorrow with multiple options - BigE would jump at the change trying to salvage the conference & the SEC invite (granted, with stipulations).
Think it's a matter if they are as fed up with TU as A&M. We'll know tomorrow.

I think you are the one doing more hope and desperation. All I did was link to what is one of the few reputable reports any one has. I didnt try to spin anything. Read the damn article. No it doesnt say they have agreed to anything, but it also doesnt say they are leaving. Apparently you are the one trying to spin things. If and yes its an IF, Mizzou agrees to this, then they would not go to the SEC. No way they are going to give up their tv rights to the Big XII for 6 years even if they play in the SEC.
Deaton is still on the expansion committee. Why would he be there if they are leaving? Find me something reputable that says he got up and left the meeting many times because of legal reasons.
The curators meeting tomorrow will discuss conference changes (OMG not new news) and this new revenue sharing that was just agreed on. At this point, if the money is right, the conference is stable, can you honestly see Mizzou leaving? Giving up games with Kansas, KState, etc..
All things are speculation, I never said you can for sure mark them off.. Hence the pretty much..
So please clean the sand from your vagina and quit trying to start crap.

The fans and AD have been past that point for a while now. Half of our board is there, and our governor is there.
We're gone, in my opinion.

@vgregorian
Vahe Gregorian Neinas says Mizzou's Deaton "recused himself" from part of CEO teleconference yesterday at advice of attorney. Wouldn't specify what part.
This is the Mizzou beat writer for the St. Louis Post Dispatch. I had a detail wrong, but it's still significant.

Yes, I can see them leaving.

Not only do you not know the meaning of if, you don't even know the meaning of what you posted.

I definitely think Mizzou is gone.. All this posturing would serve no purpose if they weren't planning on packing their bags.

IDk.. remember.. A&M did this song and dance and it took them a year before they decided. Problem is, if Missouri waits that long, what is left? I think in reality the SEC goes to 16 in the next year or so and both Mizzou and WVU get in. Problem for you guys is if the curators decide to put faith in the Big XII.

SEC is NOT waiting 27 months.

the 27 month clause is about to be out the window

Thanks for the insight MR Big East Commissioner.

Well then, Rutgers and UConn better be damn sure they are getting into the ACC or Big Ten, because that is a hell of a risk they are taking. They better be ready to lose the Big East money and the BCS money the conference gets while the wait it out to see if the other conferences will even dare sniff at them.
