I think so. I prefer Panko but that's just me. It's a scarlet letter to all of my inbreading friends, that's for sure.

Not quite sure what that means in the context of being within 6 hours of an SEC campus. There is no SEC school in Little Rock.

I think the issue is that college station is at least an 8 hour drive from any SEC school except LSU. Similar to Fayetteville, they will not get many people driving to games in there. I lived in Fayetteville the past 4 years and can attest to a smaller than normal visitors section for most games in Razorback stadium. That is partially why some games are still played in Little Rock. It's closer emough to the other SEC schools that people are willing to drive. If all games were in Fayetteville, then I guarantee you that the crowds would be smaller. Airfares into XNA are pretty high, so people are not ad willing to take the flight to the area. Thankfully, Fayetteville is close to some of the most beautiful nature in the country, so this draws some people who make a football/vacation trip out of it.

Now in College Station, its pretty much a flight for most fans from SEC schools, so they need another draw, and I am not sure Houston is enough draw. I think more people would go to Austin and drive down, but it's still an expensive venture to do every 2 or 4 years.

I just want to disagree with you about crowds being smaller in Fayetteville.

We only play one SEC game in Little Rock each season.

If the LSU game was in Fayetteville, there'd be 75k people there every time.

SEC games always draw over 70k at Fayetteville, regardless of the small amount of traveling SEC fans.

I'd say most of the teams that are going to travel well fill opposing stadiums regardless.

Bama/Auburn/UGA all have traveled well to Fayetteville. Much better than Ole Miss who is actually closer. The Miss schools just don't travel well. LSU i'm sure would bring a lot of fans to Fayetteville as well.

CS is not the most scenic town in the world, that is for sure. It is in the middle of the Texas plains, flat and boring to the eye. But is like any other big college town, alot of fun, especially at night. Northgate has blown up in recent years and is pretty much the place to be, imho.

Tailgating is pretty good, although probably not quite to the level as some of the SEC schools. I am pretty sure anyone that comes will have a good time, and be treated well by the Aggies. Most of us are very welcoming to opposing fans, with open invites to our tailgates, food, beer, etc.

The visitor's section cannot be more empty than it normally is for pretty much every game besides Sips, OU and Tech. As stated before, I imagine a ton of LSU and Arkansas people live within 2-2.5 hours driving distance since y'all seem to love living in our state.

Also, can you poors not afford to fly?

google maps might not say it, but i regularly drove back to see family in Auburn in 6 hours flat. from dorm to my mom's house. add it.

i can see you point, however. LSU is on the fringe and is tough to travel to for other fans. CSTX will be even worse.

That's still a long effing way.

I think College Station feels closer, just because being in western Ark we're more geared towards Dallas than Memphis, so we're already used to going to Texas.

SWClassic is our closest road game every year.

TAMU is a long way off the facts prove it.

Have you been to Dallas and Memphis, it's not even close for Jobs, living, income etc.

Memphis is closer to Fayetteville than Dallas but Dallas blows it out of the water.

No I hear ya. It just "feels" closer to me because I have a mental picture of exactly how to get there because I go to Texas frequently. I'd have to get a map out to get Starkville or Tuscaloosa, just because I'm not nearly as familiar with that part of America.

What's funny is people used to say the same about NWA not even 10 years ago, wild, right?

It's literally not the same school it was in 2000 much less 1974, ha.

Alabama had a TON of fans in Fayetteville last year. Video proof is always the way to go.

There are enough LSU grads in N. Texas to support both Dallas & Ft. Worth chapters--think this is the 2nd or 3rd biggest LSU area outside LA besides Houston or ATL.
