This wouldn't be the end of the world. The SEC would gain a foothold in Texas and I think the Aggies would more than pay for themselves. Or, we could always boot out Vanderbilt.

A&M will deliver a large, interested fanbase no matter what. Good base for revenue even in times of gridiron disaster and almost infinite potential on the upside.

And Vandy will never be kicked out because they offer the veil of privacy on the league's dealings as a private institution.

c) slive/sec doesnt want to pull a team from a conference that already has a CCG. its much easier to take a team from a smaller league that doesnt have as much to lose in terms of revenue.

Why does Slive care about that? Let the crap roll downhill...if he takes an ACC team they can go after Pitt or Cuse or UConn and the BE can raid CUSA and CUSA can steal Latech from the WAC.

Boise has built a good football team, but conference expansion is about revenue, Boise does not bring enough. They have a small stadium and fan base.

I don't know I think in since of football fan base it will be larger than Washington St Colorado nd it is growing faster than anything I van remember seeing. I'm not thAt old but can't think of a school climbing up the ranks from an unknown to a team that's talked about constantly as quickly as them and to stay at that level as many years straight as they have
