OSU AD: "We just want to be with Texas when the dust settles!"

In an e-mail to University of Texas system regent Robert L. Stillwell last week, OSU athletic director Mike Holder wrote: "We just want to be with Texas when the dust settles!"
As i said in another post, i have a feeling that Texas is trying its hardest to keep the big 12 south rivals together. This might be a big reason why Texas is blowing off the SEC.

LOL you make it sound like the SEC is desperate for UTx. Would they make he SEC stronger yes, are they a must have no.

When it gets down to the nth hour in these kinds of negotiations, that doesn't mean anything. They are horse-trading and they'll say anything they need to. Let's wait till the check clears to see if there is any validity to that.

Is it just me, or does all this make OU sound like Texas' bitch.
I mean, the way they appear to be hanging on is almost like a clingy girlfriend you try to dump, who won't go away.

You're damn right OSU will declare loyalty to Texas or OU or anyone else holding the cards
Ok State should recognize they are a second tier consideration in all of this and make sure what will probably happen to Baylor doesn't end up happening to them

think they do.....good point though, some of you are more worried about your appearance too much. They are taking the smart route. They know who the big dog is and what kind of leverage they have. They want a piece of that pie as well. If they said otherwise they could end up a member of the MWC, think they would hate that more than looking like a bitch now.

Your reading comprehension sucks. I never mentioned the SEC one time. I think UT could be an important addition to the SEC, at the same time my hatred for them makes me ambivalent.
