How about:
1) sugar bowl for SEC champ bowl location
2) rotation of atlanta and reliant stadium for the SEC CCG
you don't really want the SEC championship game in the same city as where the CCG participants will play their bowl game - that tends to hurt attendance

And Houston and Nashville? Possibly Jacksonville and St. Louis?
Lots of decent stadiums in the footprint.

I was hoping for Legion Field as I am a sucker for old stadiums. Apparently they had to remove a ton of unsafe seats though.

I definitely like the idea of rotating cities. As a college football fan the game is a big part of the trip, but they also need to take in to account what's in it for the fans outside of the game. Cities like New Orleans offer a lot for a fan outside of the game. The problem with Jacksonville is the stadium in outdoors. You have to consider the time of year and the weather. It will be very comfortable most years but if you catch a rainy day in winter it will absolutely suck for everyone.
I also like it for the financial benefits for the city itself. I don't like that Atlanta gets the economic windfall every year.

This plus recruiting.

I don't want it here in Texas, screw Jerry world. New Orleans would be cool

I don't think more than two venues makes sense. There is some logic to the idea of rotating between ATL Georgia and a relatively western location like Dallas or Houston - but if you bounce all over the place you end up with second tier venues and without a real infrastructure prepared to host what often amounts to a top five college football event
I don't really think the folks in Nashville are prepared to do as good of a job with that as ATL and maybe Dallas might do

I believe New Orleans is a better event city then both Dallas and Atlanta.

My preference is to keep it in Atlanta. I think it has become an event and a tradition and I consider Atlanta the de facto capitol of the SEC.
N.O. is awesome, but the SEC champ very often plays in N.O. a month later (for either Sugar Bowl or BCS Championship gamee) and I don't like the idea of repeat trips for the champs.
If N.O. really wants to host an SECCG, then let Atlanta host the Sugar Bowl that year.
IMO Dallas, Houston and Miami are not central enough for the majority of fans. If we do end up adding Missouri and the two Oklahoma schools, then it might make sense to do one of the Texas sites.
Nashville is fun but is kind of second tier and their stadium is outdoors, which could suck depending on the weather. Jacksonville and Memphis are like third tier (Memphis doesn't even have a suitable venue) and Birmingham is even worse.

New Orleans would be great, but the Sugar Bowl pretty much rules that out. The only other worthwhile locations are Atlanta and Dallas, simply because of the air connections. Atlanta is a long arse ways from where I live in Texas, but, short of Dallas, it's the easiest place to get to. I'm fine with it staying in Atlanta, given that ATL has a bunch of schools in easy driving distance plus the afore-mentioned air connections.

I'll take New Orleans over Dallas every time, much more fun city to travel to

Of course you would... you only have to drive two hours to get there. It's a big home field advantage.
