They aren't getting ND. Why would ND turn down the B1G with existing rivals for a very unstable Big 12 and no rivals? Not going to happen.

really unsure why NDs "rivals" in the B1G continuously get brought up?

our only true rivals are navy and usc, everyone else is expendable.

anyways, this guy thinks getting ND to join the B12 is a far-fetched idea; if realignment continues our first choice would be the ACC, especially if they allow the NBC deal.

So, you've played Michigan 50 times and signed a 25 year contract that runs until 2031. You've played Michigan State 80 times, and Purdue more than that. Bring on Iowa State and Kansas.

He seems to think the LHN is an advantage for the Big-9.

I think not.

That and he thinks that the SEC has unequal revenue sharing at tier 3.

It's not unequal sharing because we don't share tier 3. Each school is on their own. This is one thing that the SEC needs to get a grip on and the SEC network will probably fix.

But let's assume WV would consider joining the B12. Lets' compare MO to WV:

1) Superior athletics? Probably MO, but, in football, WV is arguable.
2) Television markets? MO hands down.
3) Academics? MO hands down.
4) Intangibles? (Perceived prestige, recruiting, etc.) MO hands down.

thats why I don't see West Virginia coming to the SEC

It's certainly possible that ND will say goodbye to games with Michigan, Michigan State and Purdue. But that doesn't mean that they aren't rivals. Google Michigan vs Notre Dame and you will find article after article describing the game as a rivalry, or the two teams as rivals. Given the fall of the Irish the last 20 years, it wouldn't surprise me if they joined the ACC, but I can't see them joining the dysfunctional Big 12.
