Now that can cause some problems if the other schools that are planning to leave haven't left by then. They can't have a championship game in 2011 without 12 teams.

Yeah. We all know that Colorado can't afford to go breaking any contracts earlier than that.

Wow. So we now have Boise St. and Nebraska changing conferences in 2011 and Colorado in 2012.

This is going to be a really akward season in Big 12 football.

This could push the Pac-16 conference to be formed by 2011. If they get enough votes, they can blow up the Big 12 and nobody has to pay to get out.

Pretty sure I heard it would take 9 out of 12. You know Baylor, KSU, KU, ISU, and Mizzou will vote against

They need 9 votes to do it without buyouts being involved.
They're not going to get that many schools to go along with it, as I can only see 8 schools bolting.

Some Big 12 teams just picked up an extra home game next year, problem is finding teams this late to fill them. It could cause a ripple around the country for other schools schedules.
