Is somebody from Baton Rouge calling College Station a shithole?
Posted on 9/6/11 at 8:15 pm to Big Kat
no...someone from The Woodlands is....

Yet hundreds of kids who grew up there matriculate to College Station every year and love it
Also, you can thank an Aggie for building The Woodlands. You'll see his name plastered all over our campus.

Aggie..lets review the situation...
a cocky Aggie came here and called LSU out...I responded by saying that Aggie will make out better during the first LSU game...
and since you are on TIGER droppings, most here think LSU and Baton Rouge is a superior experience to Aggie and B/CS....
go to TexAgs to get your nuts rubbed....

Yup, you mad.
Most people think their school is a superior experience, that's why they went there in the first place. Don't bring the "I'm from The Woodlands, I know true beauty." It sounds arrogant and stupid, regardless of where you say it.

I MOVED to the Woodlands because of family...I'm from New Orleans.....I know true beauty as much as the next guy...I could give 2 shits about how "beautiful" the Woodlands is.....
Before Aggie came around the board,I liked Aggie....100x better than UT....then you want to become part of the SEC, with all the arrogance of a Gump without the skins on the wall....

We're arrogant because he successfully trolled the shite out of you? Take a deep breath. And if you judge any fan base by message boards, you need to get a grip.

Serious question. Not being from A&M who was responsible for The Woodlands?

George Mitchell. His wife's name is on the new physics and astronomy building on University and on the new tennis center. He's pretty old now but has given tons of money to A&M.

History - don't waste the energy looking back, cause down the road in the SECW, LSU, AR, AL, AU & MSST are patiently waiting!
Welcome to the big leagues Aggie - you have no idea what you just stepped in. On the off weeks you may get FL & SC. IMO - 2012 will be rude awakening to the real world of college football at its best.
While I believe you will quickly recruit the type of D it takes to be competitive in the SEC, get ready for a few very long years.
Think the TX kids/recruites will slowly gravitate to A&M/SEC, fans will have to be patient as the SEC transition progresses.
Welcome aboard - I'll be long gone & planted before you beat my Tigers!

This keeps getting repeated. We have TVs and Internet. We know exactly what the SEC is all about. And 2012 will be a rebuilding year no matter our conference.
I most dread the constant "I told you A&M can't compete in the SEC" next year. We would have been down in the B12 too. We graduate 7 Srs off our D and lose the best offensive trio in all of CFB on offense.
BUT, it's worth it to be in a stable conference!

BigKat - truely hope you are a singular, delusional Aggie.
If your building naming donor is not picking up the tab, start saving for gas money to Al, FL & SC. Stay alert & don't miss any classes.
There're may be a new Aggie joke in that thought.

This goes to the you can go frick yourself AP department.

What part got you? The best offensive trio in CFB? I'll take Fuller, Tannehill, Gray over any other combo.
USCe has Lattimore and Jeffrey but Garcia is lacking.
Arkansas lost Kniles Davis.
OU is starting a new RB but Landry and Broyles are good.
OK St has Blackmon and Weeden but no Kendall Hunter anymore.
Who are you suggesting is better?

I disagree that a lot of Aggies are mad over something petty from 20 years ago. Hell, a lot of Aggies have never even heard of this.
Please, don't let a couple message board posters paint your view of a fanbase
How long have you been an Aggie? I've heard that refrain from almost every Aggie i've come across, IRL, and message boards anytime LSU v aTm is brought up.
Go start a thread about the LSU v aTm series on Texags and you'll find out how many Aggies remember and how deeply they feel about it.
I can let bygones be bygones for the sake of Ag joining the SEC, but this flame attempt kinda irked me. I know, he won.
I know what that rhetoric spewed by the Ag faithful over the last twenty years was really about, though. It was a way of saying they were just as scared to play us in the last 13 years as we were in the mid nineties, without actually saying it.
