Why the hell do we pass on WV for missouri. I mean really folks. The SEC is the most watched conference in america because of the quality of football teams not the freakin tv sets.

The quality of the football teams is a wash isn't it? Why are you propping up WVU?

WVU's best (Slaton/White) vs. Mizzou's best (the Daniel teams, the Brad Smith teams) is a total wash.

Mizzou was close to a BCSCG birth in Daniel's Sr year. And Blaine Gabbert was a stud also.

Currently the TE Egnew is amazing. Future NFL TE for years to come

WVU nothing we can measure for years to come.

Here are things we can measure for the next 10-20 years.
Population in WVU? bad.
Economy in WVU? Bad.
Education in WVU? bad.

The only constant plus is a rabid fan base(during the good years).

Their football team can tank at any moment and the people will walk away.

Missourri has somehting off the football field that we can measure and invest in.

Major Harris and Don Nehlen tell me that you must be young.

Mizzous other claims to fame are playing Nebraska tough in '97, playing Colorado to a fifth down in '90, and Kellen Winslow Sr.

Has Missouri even participated in a BCS bowl?

You dumb. Football teams are a wash and missou brings more to the table in other ways.

After watching the A&M yell leaders I'm wondering why in the world the SEC invited A&M

Does "a wash" still mean even?

WVU doesn't even bring a television market. About half the state, including Morgantown are serviced by television stations in Pittsburgh.

West Virginia was just as close that same year. It took both of them losing for us to get in.

Sounds like a majority of SEC teams...

If I would have told you 3 years ago that the following teams would switch to the same conference without telling you which conference they were going to...

Add TCU & WVU
Add Utah $ Colorado
Add Texas A&M & Mizzou
Add Pitt & Syracuse
Add Nebraska

Without out a doubt in my mind the TCU & WVU combo and Texas A&M & Mizzou combo would be very close in best additions...

Yep. They've both been pretty mediocre throughout their histories

Yeah, except one was far less mediocre. You dumb.

IDGAF, really, who comes into the SEC, or why. These decisions will be made by business men , lawyers, and ESPN. I just hate to read BS like MU>>>WVU football. People who say that prove that they don't know anything about college football history, even recent history, when they say things like that.

I will just add this...the Big 12 just got two teams from two conferences that would rank way down the list in terms of strength. The SEC added two teams from a very solid conference.

How would TCU and WVU have fared all these years playing in a tougher conference? I guess we are about to find out.
