Auburn President Jay Gogue said Sept. 8 he would not be bothered if Auburn moved to the SEC East to accommodate a 14-team conference. Gogue said a benefit for Auburn would be renewing annual games against old rivals Florida and Tennessee, and that Auburn would pick Alabama to be an annual cross-division partner.
"If that's what it took, if you ever went to 14 and needed to make it work, that wouldn't be something I would be upset about," Gogue said.

AU doesn't give two shits about anything turd related. Conference expansion put bama in this "situation" and AU is the good guy that will do whatever is best for the conference whether that is stay or go.

Bama and UT need to let it go. If they want to play that badly then schedule a game and play it like it is OOC. The years that they rotate onto each others schedule then the games count and they can play another OOC game.

I'd prefer to stay in the west too, but moving to the east isn't that big of a deal for me.
The outrage by some of the bama fans as though this possible move somehow has them in mind is the comical part.
