No other school in the nation has had to deal with NCAA penalties. Aggie logic. Get used to it SEC.

Dude you're trying to hard to hate. You gave years in the 50's and 60's we were down. Congrats. We weren't good for 20 years before schools limits and we were a small military school.

And we had a losing season in 82. Not 81, 83, or 84. And in 85 we went 10-2 beating Bo Jackson and Auburn in the Cotton Bowl.

My point stands. We have not had prolonged periods of being down like you claim. Except for Fran.

We will be going to bowl games pretty much every year. Hopefully we start winning those games but that's a topic for a whole new thread

Getting back to the original topic, *everyone* involved with this has said that we will go independent before we go back to the Big 12.

Hey Big Kat, or any other Ag:

Do they pat you down as you enter Kyle Field? I'm curious how much whiskey I bring in.

TIA

Nope. Just don't make it obvious. A flask in your pocket is not a problem

That's a 7 year stretch right there including 02-09 seasons and excluding 06. You got beaten 77-0 by Oklahoma during that time. You didn't go to a bowl game from 81-85. Your bowl record over the last 20 years is 2-12! Between 1958 and 1974 you went to one bowl game. Before 1957 you went 6 years with no bowl and before that you went another 6. You are 0-5 in your last 5 bowls.

And we are 5-1 in our last 6 matchups vs. LSU. I know it's not the same now as it was in the 90's, but it just goes to show you that no one stays on top forever and every team has their down periods.

Nothing against TAMU...I just think 12 is a perfect number, and the current SEC scheduling format is also perfect.

As an Aggie, I prefer a 13 team SEC!

Done deal brother, the Aggies will officially be in the SEC very soon according to all sources. Welcome to the Aggies.

I think the SEC should not tamper with a good thing. Right now, these are the best of times for the SEC and LSU.

Who will be the 14th team? Can't just have a 13 team conference it just sounds wrong (and for some perhaps unlucky).

No pat downs. If you wear Cowboy boots, perfect place to hide a hip flask

You can have a 13 team conference. The SEC won't be the first.

I think there are 2 conferences w 13 teams now. Big Sky and one other I'm forgetting

Maybe, but TAMU is probably one of the best adds in the country.

Agree. Ags a great addition to the SEC. Other than FSU, the rest of them bring nothing.

Bump. Smells like a cowboy victory here in collie station. Let me guess, Tannehill is terrible?
