no, I do not believe that.
what I do believe is that the matt Canada that showed up at LSU was not really matt Canada. I believe he had been abducted by aliens who were Alabama fans and brain washed by sophisticated futuristic methods to destroy the LSU offense. saban had told them he probably needed that to win this year.
when you really think about it, it makes perfect sense; it's so much easier to believe than your story.

I'm with ya man. I think he probably wants to go down as the greatest coach in LSU history. Clearly, that's in grave doubt, but to tank on purpose is beyond what a man would do in this situation. He may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but he's most certainly all LSU.
It is fun to speculate. I suppose the players will tell us on Twitter when it's all said an done.

*He coached for over 30 years elsewhere, and only came here after no one would hire him in 2014
*out of his 33 years of coaching, hes only worked in La 5 years, and only 2 of those at LSU
*He has a history of undercutting LSU recruits: McKnight, Jantzen, Rishaw Johnson
*He mostly talks about the people from his USC days Kiffin, Carroll, Sark, etc. and that vaunted USC offense of yesteryear

Coach O got rid of Canada because O believed that he was a cancer on the football staff and because he wanted to replace him with Ensminger who Coach O and Coach Aranda both believe is a better play caller than Canada.
There are also rumors, don't know if they are true or not, that Ensminger did the play calling in the Texas A&M game.

I know people don't want to hear it, but O, Aranda, and Ensminger are a ban of brothers, as all three of them are the best of friends and could not be any closer. O never makes any decision regarding the football program without reaching a consensus with those guys that he trusts.
Canada, on the other hand, was an outsider and viewed as a pariah and a cancer on the football staff. He had to go.

What is really scary is that if he starts losing he will do some shite like Kiffin and Pete Carrol did at use and cheat and put us right there with old mis and SMU type stuff
