The Hat keeps his winning numbers stashed away

If you want numbers, look in the Barn.

Crowton looks to be gone

Dear Maryland:

Gary Crowton has 1 national championship in only 4 years at LSU. How many has Maryland gotten? 1953 was ok, but you lost your bowl game. Crowton won in 2007! He could take you to the promised land in 2011!

We rest our case. Your search is over.

Sincerely,
The Rant

You should go with our offensive rankings under Crowton. Oh wait, the numbers don't go that high...

I think it's pretty obvious now that the fact that Coach Miles did all the recruiting on Mett to come to LSU, proves he intended all along to replace Crowton at the end of the season. He didn't want Mett building a relationship with an OC that would not be here and this also gives him a chance to open up the QB competition in the summer/spring/fall to whoever can learn and perform in the new system. Everyone will be even.
