You all check on your Ole Miss and Florida peeps.

It is over, LK to LSU

Signed last night between 9 and 10

2 separate people in room confirmed

A lot of incentives built in

LK wants to win championships

Ed O most likely coming back

I heard through the grapevine from my super-secret sauces that there's a lot of smoke to what the OP is saying.

Some of you all sure do seem like you do not want LSU to succeed at anything. Like immediately attack the good news with negativity.

Some LSU fans have battered wife syndrome and can't enjoy this process, so they attack any reports so their not left abandoned at the alter!

No it wasn't. If a Contract was actually signed there is zero way that remains quiet.

OK, no reason to call people names. I was told exactly what I posted. Take that how you want, whether agreement or contract. Either way it was signed last night between 9pm and 10 pm. They sure did make it seem like it was a contract.

IF anything was signed last night, it was likely a MOU (Memorandum of Understanding). Actual contact details would have to be worked out and approved by the BOS.

A MOU is not legally binding. Which means we still may have to sweat out the DeBoer to Penn State rumors.

“It is generally recommended to wait until after you have a signed contract from the new employer before informing your current one to avoid potential negative consequences, such as being let go immediately. The standard procedure is to wait until you have the new offer confirmed and then provide notice to your current employer as required by your contract.”

I can confirm this is accurate (standard procedure in most normal circumstances) from your AI. However I agree with the posters saying that this is likely a MOU which would not be legally binding and should be confidential. You have to be extremely careful with posting AI stuff on here though, the board can be a little sensitive about it - I may or may not speak from experience.

No it’s not. It is a contractual obligation for a salary and other compensation, along with guidelines from the employer. It’s the exact same regardless of how big or small the contract is. I’m not gullible, I’m just not a fan of false information. Y’all are acting like signing an offer letter as a coach or player is somehow magically different, and it’s not.
