But, that is only speculation.
Here is fact:
There are only 2 possible outcomes:
1) Miles calls the short side option or likes the call of the short side option, OR
2) Miles did not tell Crowton, "I am the boss and you will remove that play from your gameplan and if you ever call it again you are fired." (or at least he waited until just prior to the Cotton Bowl to give this ultimatum despite loads of prior game film proving the short side option was not working).
