Would you want Les to handle this any differently?

I may have missed something, but it seems like he's been pretty open about what's going on, hasn't made any denials, really likes LSU but knows Michigan is where his heart is.
Kinda makes me like the guy.

I would want him to handle it faster. So yes.

Personally, yes I wish this was just over and done with. But I think he is handling the situation with class and is doing what he thinks is best for himself and his family, so no hard feelings.

He has handled it with much more class then Saban. There is no good way to handle it. He is simply doing what he
needs to do to keep both options open.
needs to do to keep both options open.

Im gonna hold of until after I see how many LSU committs he steals to UM

How exactly did saban handle it in an unclassy fashion?
I'll say this, we knew saban was leaving on Christmas day...we're coming up on mid-January with nothing from Les

Fair enough. But what if he stays only after being rejected by UM? Would that change anything?

Nope

Yes, if he would have gone to Michigan in 07, that would have been better

Yes, if he has intended to stay since RR was fired he should have just come out and said so. Otherwise just go interview and be done with it.

This would never, ever be known for certain. No way UM would release that.
If they decided not to hire less, out of respect to him, they would "announce" that Miles removed himself from contention. They would never embarrass him by saying they rejected him.

Good point. I was going off of the "... Les will take job if offered." Doesn't that mean they wouldn't have to release it?

He's handling it fine. I don't see what else he can do if he is interested in that job.

The problem is, I don't know if this is accurate or just one of the many rumors today.

High character guy it seems (didn't work out that way at OSU so probably learned from past mistakes) but I would like to see this thing moved along a bit...big recruiting class to take care of.

Les is a class act, just a little goofy and clueless with clock management

Gotcha makes sense.
