I know the x's and o's will be there but will he be able to recruit? Mamas and Grandmas might not want their boys playing for a lying philanderer.

Depends on where is coaching. Petrino would kill it coaching at California. He does not need the greatest talent in the world to win. That no D league would be a perfect fit for him. Plus north Cali has alot of tail for him to smash on the reg to keep him happy.

He wasn't exactly attracting top level talent before all this shite went down...

He'll be awesome as a recruiter...Think of it. We're in the Bible Belt. He's going in on one knee, saying how low he had gotten, how his life was being torn apart by this wicked world and his wicked ways. Satan had him, but then he saw the light. He turned it all around and who was there to help him through. Jesus....and Auburn.
Solid Gold.
Solid Gold.

Why has everyone already forgotten about this? He's an awful recruiter, and doesn't give a shite about defense. That's not what Auburn needs

but it's petrino, he'll say it all with this sadistic grin. And he'll probably cuss a lot more.

Do Auburn fans really think Petrino is a good idea? Auburn, deserved or not has a rogue reputation around the country..It seems like every 3 or 4 years there is an NCAA investigation going on..That combined with Petrino's well deserved reputation as a generally lousy human being just seems like a recipe for disaster.

Can't think of a more fitting end to petrino's coaching career than NCAA violations at Auburn.

As an Auburn fan, I hope we hire a militant black coach who publicly calls out any top player who doesn't sign with us as racists. It would be the most obnoxious thing I have ever seen but at least I could laugh at it if we are as bad as this year. And I would enjoy it more than the bible beater bullshite of the recent departed staff.
