I think it's Fedora
there is no reason for it to not come out if it's Smart- they dont play for another 40 days
Fedora is playing today for the Conf USA title- so every reason to keep it quiet
And there's been lots of smoke that he has been offered- question is- will he accept?

Just was told Fedora accepted- came from one of the 10 USM fans so he should know

I'm still sticking with Smart, for now. But I also wouldn't be surprised if the new coach was a name that hasn't even been mentioned.

as bad as I hate you guys, I think Fedora is the better hire- Smart is Saban's yes man and Saban's coaching tree has been very mediocre.

I'm not saying Fedora would be a bad hire by any means. It would be better than Hugh Freeze in my opinion. Smart is a heck of a recruiter as well. And if the rumors are true about him putting together a damn good staff, I'd really like for us to close on him.
My source keeps telling me it is Smart and keeps assuring me it is him. He has been telling me that for like 2 weeks now. I'm going to stick by his saying until we really find out.

well, obviously the key to an hire is what assts he can bring- but I think if it was Smart- it would have already been announced- Saban doesnt want a guy leaving for another division school out recruiting for him- and that is what Smart's been doing this week
