their D really wasn't that great and it flat out sucked in 2006. 99th against the pass with tons of secondary talent

Muschamps D at Texas was 109th against the pass this year.

I hear ya SFP, but 109th? Hell, LSU has maybe one DB right now who may be an NFL 1st day draft choice and he's a freshman. And we ranked 81st against the pass.

Hell yeah. I would take him as a DC in a heartbeat..but as a head coach? No way.
In 5 years we could all be wrong about him, but I doubt it. Iowa State actually got WORSE when he took over.
