Would LSU be quicker in staff changes if alums gave enough $$$?

I did hear that Washington alums would give 200k if Ty Willingham was fired, so I'm wondering the same would happen for LSU?

As an alum, I'd contribute $0.
Do you mean boosters?

I bet folks here would contribute money to make stupid threads go away or to improve the quality of postings.

The last thing LSU needs are rich alums meddling in the affairs of the athletic department. That only leads to trouble.

I'd write a check for 2 Million if he was fired...it would bounce, but I'd do it if asked.

I don't see where Miles has done anything to worth being fired over.
I don't like losing to Ole Miss, but 9-3 in a rebuilding year is pretty solid.

No. While money matters, it has more to do with Miles style (as long as his is the one replacing coaches and not the one being replaced). The last couple of years shows that he won't dump a coach, he allows them to find something else so that the parting is mutual instead of a firing. To me, this is a sign of a good manager, never throw someone under the bus. Don't think that doesn't factor into the decision when a coach is considering coming here.
Aside from McCarthy I can't think of anyone that was just cut loose, and that was with good reason. I also can't think of anyone other than Searles just up and leaving for another school, like Gonzalez just did. Everyone who has left has been for a promotion. Compare that to Saban who loses coaches constantly, most for better jobs but some for lateral positions. He is not hesitant to cut someone loose, so his assistants probably feel a lot less loyalty towards him. Don't get me wrong, in some cases I would prefer to see folks just shown the door. It just depends on the individual style of each coach.

What was rebuilding??? We lost our starting QB.

Miles can only win if he has a Senior QB and 10 Senior OLinemen and at least 3 Junior RBs and two senior WRs
If we don't have that then its a rebuilding year
