Would Jimbo Fisher leave FSU for Auburn?

If Tuberville were to be fired at the end of the season would Jimbo be interested in taking the job? I know he's been promised the HC job at FSU but how long will he have to wait?
This is just my opinion but I think that he would jump at the opportunity to take an SEC job for 2009 rather than wait 2+ years for Bobby Bowden to retire or... well, you know.

If he did he'd be a fool. He'd be wise to follow Bobby Bowdens mantra and stay as far away fromt the SEC as possible. Bobby and FSU were offered a spot in the expanded SEC and ran away like scalded dogs.
Jimbo will stay at FSU and take the chicken$&it road to kick off his Head Coaching career.

if aub fires tubby they deserve to have 10 losing seasons in a row. his recruiting classess are nevr high yet they always in the hunt

I think Jimbo leaving FSU for Auburn is perfect. It already looks like he's calling plays for the Auburn offense.

He's not going to Auburn. I wish he would though so we (FSU) can go get a good coach.

Same reason them clemson job is so appealing.
He needs stay at FSU recruit decent talent and play those ACC schools. I hate to have my first head coaching job, require me to out recruit Nick Saban in the same state my school is in.

Jimbo's contract is a two way street. He' guaranteed the HC job when Bowden leaves, but if he leaves before he has to pay a ridiculous buy-out clause, I think around $2MM.

If he's smart, he wouldn't.
FSU is still in Fla, and in a weak ACC, and still has a great stadium, and fanbase..
It is a superior platform to Auburn for winning big, even if second-fiddle to Fla of current, but at least is in another conference that the Gators..
Second-fiddle to Bama in Alabama is doing so in the same conference, division, and all the while in the same lesser talent-loaded state than is Florida..
FSU can be a monster again one day..if run by the right guy..then again..I don't think Jimbo to be an future elite HC!

Here's something else to consider. Jimbo's contract expires January 9, 2011. If Bowden retires after that date, Jimbo is guaranteed nothing. It is entirely possible that Bowden decides to keep coaching for the next few years and by the time he does step down, FSU might not want Jimbo any longer. Which brings me to my opinion that Jimbo would jump at a chance to be a HC in 2009 rather than wait for who knows how long to "maybe" be the HC at FSU.

sexton is his agent and believes the ACC has better opportunity due to all the good coaches in the SEC
