i do know he seem emotional and in touch with his players which would seem to work well in college.

What else makes you think so

I believe he would be a really good college HC and he would probably be a good recruiter.I like his intensity.

No. I live in Atlanta and saw plenty of him. He is nothing special. At all.

He also let his players run wild. Guys were constantly in trouble. That's just what we need at. LSU. I can still remember him taking a phone call on his cell phone during a game..... On the damn sideline. He's a real dipshit.

young, energetic, and a rah rah guy

those variables tend to work wonders in recruiting (esp on the west coast)

he's not the worst assistant coach in the world. he's just not an NFL head coach. i don't think he can control his players. don't think he has the respect needed for professional football

Wasnt he calling someone in the upstairs booth to get confirmation on a rule? Or did this happen more than once?

he failed as a positional coach

mora worked his way from a positional coach to coordinator to head coach

also, he fits the trend in elite CFB coaches controlling 1 side of the team (like meyer, saban, carroll, kelly, etc)

His secondaries in New Orleans were uniformly bad, and he had his dad feeding him first day draft picks...

As a coordinator, his defenses in San Francisco were no more than average.

I've never really grasped why he was given a head coaching job to begin with, other than his last name.

This. As DC in San Fran, his defenses ranked 28, 29, 13, 14, 13. In Atlanta, his defenses were ranked in the 20s in 2/3 years. He's a pretty average (at best) defensive coach.

...in the NFL

if the NFL is comparable to football calculus, CFB is pre-algebra
