Would anyone be surprised If we announced Dabo as our next HC?

If u think about it he fits the criteria if the type of coach Scott would go hunting for and his name has literally not been in the mix at all. Would absolutely come from left field too as the baseball hire did. All the smoke on Riley to keep it off a different coach. That coach can’t be less than Riley or it makes no sense.

Im not saying id love it but it def fits the mold of the type of hire he likes to make. If he was to bring Venables with him id def be good with it.

Not at all, Dabo is a great coach! Turned Clemson into a Championship Contender, struggled this year but bounced back from struggling in the beginning of the season to finish out 9-3. Potentially 10-3 if they win their bowl game. People hate him I get it, but I think he’s a good coach and would be a great hire.

Dabo is annoying AF, but on the upside I used to work with a couple of Clemson fans and they really hate us. Very bitter over 2019 and how our savage, Neck-blaring fan base defiled their holy dream season or whatever.
And they’re kind of Aggie-esque. So the melt would be fun to watch.
I’d be surprised as hell if it’s Dabo, though.

The way Saban is acting I wouldn’t doubt that it is him. He said he wished he had never left LSU and had unfinished business here as well as being fed up with the spoiled Alabama fans. Might be something there.

Prepare thy anus, SEC... Because we're bringing back the big man!

Dabo is a great program and culture builder. If he brought Venables, he would definitely be set up for success here.
However, his culture at Clemson fits where he is and the conference he plays in. I’m not sure he can duplicate that at LSU because of how competitive recruiting is in the SEC. I think he would be successful, but it isn’t a move without risk and I just don’t see him leaving there. I don’t even think he will take the Bama job when Saban drops dead.

Dabo will go to Alabama when Saban retires, dies or goes senile. He would never come to LSU.

I’d be very happy, much rather him than Riley, he’s proven he can win against the big boys, unlike Riley.
