Woodward's method of hiring/ termination discussion

For those not in the know, which would be 99.99% of us posting on this board, the strategy to successful termination and hiring of employees would be as follows:
Current employee exhibiting behavior and actions not in line with boss.
Boss gives employee the opportunity to correct behavior/ actions.
Boss starts vetting potential replacement candidates.
Current employee has proven to not correct behavior/ actions.
Boss secures 1, possibly 2 affirmed/ definitely interested in "the job" replacements.
Boss contractually agrees with new hire with timeline.
Boss meets with employee and comes to terms with separation.
Public announcement is made of separation and details by which current employee must abide.
New hire is already in place. Everything else you are hearing is speculative until Woodward wants the new coach's name released.
Fire away Tiger Fans!!

That’s a lot there, but I do agree that Woodward has his man and has had him for a while. This coaching search started late 2020.

I agree that the new coach was secured before O was terminated. It’s just a matter of the process playing out until he is announced.

If Woodward has had his guy for a while it's probably going to be Jimbo, and if it is Jimbo, he's had that shite in the works a long long time.
