Woodward has hired three head football coaches in his career...

Steve Sarkisian to Washington in 2009
Chris Petersen to Washington in 2014
Jimbo Fisher to Texas A&M in 2018
Sarkisian was the OC at USC when he was hired. He was the hot assistant and it was a good hire.
No one thought Chris Petersen would ever leave Boise State...but Woodward got him to go to Washington.
And Jimbo to A&M was also a left field hire no one thought about, albeit is came at a hefty price...but that is what A&M decision makers wanted.
We are very fortunate to have him making the decision this year.
