Woodward can NOT be the person to hire the next head coach

There is not an agent on this planet that will not get his client over paid by Woodward. They all know his game.
So if we go after Lane it will be $15-20 million per year with an insane buyout. If you go after an up & comer we’ll pay a premium for that guy as well.

If we’re paying 20 million a year forget lane and go after lanning.
But both of those seem like pipe dreams. The next coach will probably be someone from a smaller school. I don’t think Woodward will have the support to make another Jimbo / Kelly type deal.
