It won't happen but I would pick Bob Stoops

Ive said Bob Stoops at LSU would be awesome and got torched for it. Most think he wouldnt leave OU. I think he would
BUT Mullen is the obvious choice here.

Mullen has already privately accepted the job today while in Miami per Rebel Spirit

I would think it'd be Mike Stoops, but Mullen is the first coach on their list since Gruden is out

From all accounts, it's Mullen.

And in other News, Houston Nutt has just caught the hugest erection in his life.

The desperation from the Ole Miss camp on the Mullens to Miami thing is comical.

Boynton Beach near Ft. Lauderdale. Having a in-home visit with a recruit of ours who is signing at Christmas and enrolling early.

Miami hasn't even contacted him.
Im not saying that he is NOT going to Miami, but I think there are some people who the higher ups at Miami have ahead of him.
Also, State is going to try to match any offer he gets, and Dan and his wife may actually like living in Starkville as hard as some of you find that to believe.

I think you'll be able to match it. If we can pay HDN three million this year, I think you'll find the money. I haven't been to Starkville in a long time, but I've heard the town has really improved.

I would think Mullen as well.

Marvin Lewis is top candidate. Football alumni want him. They have to hire a big name. Especially if a new 65,000 seat stadium needs to be built. If they lose ugly Sunday, could be available by Tuesday.

i grew up an hour & 1/2 below starkpatch, went to moo u for a year, & yes - i find it hard to believe mullen likes starkpatch. now, that being said, i'm sure he's fine w/ moo u & his salary, but that is a cow of a different color......
