If you get Quinn to tag along, you take it and run with it.

And at the end of the day, Kelly has the skins on the wall to call the shots with his staff.

Apparently Quinn isn’t all that? ND poster said Harry Hiestand was the OL coach for the nfl guys

Maybe, maybe not? I’m sure BK is the best judge of that.

Don’t forget the bargaining stages of grief my friend

BD aint coaching OL under Kelly.

If you want to keep him on the Staff, let him coach running backs.

The running game has been mostly invisible ever since Faulk took over for Robinson. (I could care less if he's an ex-LSU All-American running back or not)

He's got NFL players going back to Central Michigan and Cincinnati.. All of a sudden he's not the real ol coach at Nd? Doesn't add up.

Brad is a legit respected OL coach. I’m not knocking him at all. But no way you throw him to RBs or another position. It’s a tough call to make overall

Technically he has zero skins on the wall. That's likely his primary motivation for coming here actually.

In terms of what exactly? Yeah he’s never won the big one, but you think we’re bringing him here to tell him who to keep around? He’s more than established.

that’s why I asked the question. Took the ND poster’s response at face value,

The comment made me look, and while he’s been a co OC at earlier stops, nothing other than an OL coach at big time jobs. When you have LSU resources, you don’t throw someone into a new spot just to keep them around. Brad will land on his feet somewhere if it’s not at LSU.

Almost every Notre Dame fan I’ve seen thinks Quinn sucks

Curious why Brian Davis was picked to be the interim coach.

Did Kelly approve the move?

Based on what exactly? The NFL is the true indicator of talent and Norte Dame represents heavily there.

Good point. I’m sure he’s well respected at LSU and for all we know is a big influence within this current team. But if you bring in a coach with a dynamite coach at that position you have to make the move regardless. It’s about being the best

Could be to keep Davis around through early signing period to lock up Campbell, Fitzgerald and Jones.

Just telling you what they say. The previous OL coach was the real deal, apparently.

Maybe so, but like it is said to not discount a HC hire based on that they aren’t available until late to only help with recruiting, you go with the best coach at the end of the day

Did he get poached or what then? What’s the story. I truly don’t know. Why isn’t he there anymore?
