If Woodward pulled off a Tomlin hire most LSU fans would start celebrating 5 years straight of unanimous #1 recruiting classes and bout three championships in five years the day Woodward announced the hire. Would be the biggest homerun since Bama hired Nick.

This shouldn’t even be a question. That would be a miracle.
A successful program recruits itself. Our last HC sold himself on recruiting & my opinion is that house calls should be the jobs of assistants.
F if I care whether the HCs role in recruiting stops at roster management (something our last 4 top 5 classes sorely needed). As long as we have guys on staff who can do it well.
