if he wants to coach, he'll get a job out there. hes way too good a coach to even go back to DC-ing. if he wants to coach, he will

I really get the impression he does not want HC stress right off or maybe ever again.

I agree. I think he wants out. I also think ESPN would love to have him in the booth. I also think he would probably be fun to listen too.

If he's smart he'll lay out a year and recharge the batteries, relax and have his pick of jobs next year.

He probably sits out a year. Works a day or two a week for ESPN just to give him something to do. Then realizes how much he misses it and is back in 2010.

He would be a great replacement for Dr. Lou.

That would be so awesome. To actually have the old man gone and see someone who can actually speak without slapping their gums together to keep their teeth in.

Great call. Tubby and May. I like that.

My buddy was on the Rivals chat and they were saying his intentions were to see how things go for Les because he would really love to have this job. I don't know how accurate this was I don't get on Rivals but he told me this was employed by rivals and he is usually accurate so I don't know what its worth.

According to a MSU board, Tubbs was seen in Starkvegas around 730 tonight. Apparently, they think he will be their next coach by this Saturday. Supposedly, he is signing a 4 year deal worth around 12 million. I haven't seen this or whatever site its on but someone told me about it. Take that for whatever you want.

ETA: To answer you thread, he will coach according to State fans. My feeling is that he will do neither of these.

The broadcast booths are not big enough to handle his ears.

I'd throw my hat into the Washington ring. That program has no where to go but up. Plus, we could all see how a current SEC coach matches up on the left coast. It's a change of scenery, plus he'd get to coach against LSU next year to start his career. Talk about hype.

I think he is gonna take the Butch Davis route. Sit out a year and recharge his coaching batteries. I've that this season really put alot of stress on him. Now with that being said, him taling the MSU job would not surprise me. It's a school were winning 8 games is considered a championship season. He did bring Ole Miss out of the cellar.
