Will starting 2017 with O feel more depressing than starting 2016 with Miles?

At this point - with both Herman and Fisher as candidates and the 2 month head start on the search I'd have to unequivocally say 2017 with O will feel worse than last year's debacle.

O would have to land like 7 5*'s and bring in Lincoln Riley to humor me

Depends on the OC for me. I'd be really skeptical but hoping it miraculously works out. I always want LSU to win.

It will feel exactly the same. O will recruit well and bumble his way to a bunch of 8-4 though 10-2 seasons with nary a championship.

So you'll feel better about 2017 with O than you did about 2016 with Miles?

It'll start with a half empty stadium
And end the 4th quarter with only the teams left in it. the fiscal impact is a nightmare

It will feel worse than this year. O is not what this program needs.

Would you prefer I start a new thread for every gut feeling/bowel movement I have about the search like the rest of the board?

I will say, I feel better with Orgeron than Miles. I think Orgeron is willing to at least do the best thing for the players and the university and put aside his personal feelings. That includes bringing in people and let them do their job and not interfering. That also includes changing up staff when they are not doing a good job.

And after this year, what makes you believe Orgeron is any different? Shorter practices?
