Does Napier really have an offense that he an claim? He has only been an OC for like two seasons in total.

Good coaches will adapt their philosophy to the players they have.

He's been calling plays for another 4 years at ull. Want me to explain how that can be with you not being able to see OC listed next to his name??

The “Joe Brady” offense isn’t some mythical genius brainchild

The “Joe Brady” offense is literally just the west coast offense he learn from Peyton run from the shotgun mixed with RPO elements he learned from Joe Moorhead. There’s some many articles about it. I don’t get the mythical status his offense has garnered. It’s not a mystery.

Cool. His offense isn’t that impressive to say the least. They’ve basically finished middle of the pack in scoring and yards per game his entire time there. I’m still wondering what’s impressive about Napier.

Oh idk, pedigree, coaching record, recruiting skins on the wall, all the top coaches he’s worked with constantly singing his praises. Should I keep going?

5 minutes ago you didn't know he had an offense. Idk if we should take your advice.

What’s his pedigree exactly?

You told me he did. The rankings don’t reflect offensive genius. That’s all I’m saying. He’s touted as the next Saban and I’m trying to figure out why. No one can really provide what’s so impressive about him.

It will be a fact that Napier is not getting the job. Scott Woodward isn't waiting his entire professional life to hire Napier as football coach at his beloved alma mater.

This is his system he developed under Todd Graham. Based out of Pistol, Run first RPO Heavy. He’s the OC, he’s the primary playcaller

Coached and mentored under two different Multiple time NC winning coaches? Two guys that have proven they can build a program. Going into this weekend, the top 4 teams were Saban and 3 guys Saban mentored. Need I say more?

There are a lot of coaches who can claim the same thing. Just because he worked for good coaches doesn’t really mean much.

Ok. Mel Tucker has worked for Saban for a total of two years with a 15 year gap. I wouldn’t exactly call that being mentored. Kirby is true. Cristobal was with him three years around the same time as Napier. Is he really individually mentoring all these guys in his spare time?

Probably. I still don’t see the allure. You claim he’s going to be great because he spent a little time with Dabo and Saban, but didn’t really give any specific examples of what he’s done as a coach on his own to garner this much praise and assurance that he’ll do well at LSU. You’re using others accomplishments to make it seem like he will do well. By your logic, every coach that has ever coached under Dabo or Saban for a period of more than 2 seasons should be winning national championships.
