Will anyone take a chance on Tressel?

Great coach. However, is this the year any school will risk in hiring him?

Isn't he still the president of Youngstown State? If so why get back into coaching?

I think he's still banned from coaching next year. IMO he's washed up.

Not a major program but someone like Georgia or Houston after their coach leaves should try.

For one, I like the bait.
Two, you're right. Tressel is damaged goods. No major program would risk it unless he had proven himself at a smaller school. Kind of like Petrino going to Western Kentucky before Louisville.
Tressel is 62 years old, would be 63 next season. Probably 65 by the time he takes over a big time program, and then he's got what, five good years left?

Dude really? The last game he coached in was a Sugar Bowl victory. He will be the hot name next offseason. I could see some really bad school (i.e. Purdue, Kansas, Tulane, Maryland, etc) taking a shot on him (if he is interested). They would have to give a reason to the NCAA why they hired him, but I got that covered for them.
NCAA: Tulane/Kansas/Maryland/Purdue/etc why should we not punish you for hiring Jim Tressel?
Tulane: We're Tulane/Kansas/Maryland/Purdue
NCAA: Okay no punishment for you.
