Perhaps they see the way he left Oakland, Knoxville, LA, and Tuscaloosa and want no part of his bullshite?

They think they are better than hiring a guy from one of the small schools in Florida. I think you could justify Heuple since UCF has sustained success and Taggert was one step and one year removed from USF when they got him. But not a coach from FAU or FIU.
Hell, a large chunk of their fanbase still thinks they are better than Norvell and don’t particularly want him. Maybe they’ve come to terms with it by now, but they weren’t hearing it 3 weeks ago.

They have only had one coaching search since 1963 and they hired a bum after only a 4 day search. It's a rotten fan base and a incompetent athletic department that hasn't got a frickin clue. Bob Stoops. So frickin stupid

I like Kiffin, but he has not been great anywhere as a head coach. He is not terrible but the hype does not match what he actually is. He was born on 3rd base, that’s it.

He was brought up on a FSU podcast and they were very anti Kiffin. A source who worked with him said he was unorganized and called him the "white Willie Taggart".
